The OAU Predegree Admission form for the class of 2023–2024 is now available. Applications for admission to the Pre-Degree Program for the 2023–2024 Session are now being accepted from adequately qualified individuals.
Qualifications
A minimum of five credits in five disciplines, taken in no more than two sittings, are required of eligible candidates. These topics include English language for ALL courses, mathematics for courses based in science and social sciences, and English literature (for law).
Time Frame
Typically, there are two (2) contact periods over the program’s nine (9) calendar month duration.

The table that follows is a list of every possible subject combination. Please take note that all candidates must do English language courses.
Applicants should be aware that the subject combinations mentioned above satisfy the prerequisites (where applicable) for admission to ALL degree programs at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

- Use your username and password to get back into your account after creating it.
- Select e-Tranzact or Paystack as your preferred payment method by clicking on it.
- Complete the online application form and attach a recent photo of your passport. The passport photo needs to be in compliance with the following requirements:
- The passport photo needs to have a white backdrop and be coloured; black and white photos are not accepted.
- The passport must be current—it cannot be older than three months at the time of application—and it cannot be larger than 100 KB.
- Once the form is completed, log out and make sure your password and username are secure. To ensure you don’t forget, save your username and password to your phone. Continue periodically visiting the website to look for it.
Overview
The Pre-degree entrance exam will be computer-based, applicants should be aware of this. It is hereby recommended that you become acquainted with the fundamental functions of a computer.
It is recommended that Pre-Degree applicants periodically visit our website for updates on the Entrance Exam date as well as other pertinent information.
During the Program, all applicants must register for the 2023 UTME.
All candidates must utilize working email accounts and PERSONAL phone numbers.
After visiting the website, the forms must be completed and submitted online either right away or within two weeks. Forms that have been downloaded or printed will not be accepted.
Candidates should be aware that the Pre-Degree Entrance Exam is held in two locations: one in Ikeja, Lagos State, and one at the Ile-Ife Center.
It is recommended that candidates thoroughly read the application instructions and make sure they choose the correct combination of subjects. If this isn’t done, the Candidate can suffer consequences.
