Required Items & Dates for New Students
All applicants enrolled for the 2022–2023 academic session have received a notice from Bayero University Kano (BUK) requiring them to participate in a mandatory documentation exercise. This is an important procedure that you must go through in order to confirm and finish your acceptance to the prestigious school.

- New Campus Students
- Dates: Monday, 15th to Wednesday, 17th January, 2024
- Venue: Convocation Arena, New Campus
- Old Campus Students
- Dates: Thursday, 18th to Friday, 19th January, 2024
- Venue: Mahmud Tukur Theatre B, Old Campus
Documents Needed for Verification
The original and photocopies of the following documentation are required of all accepted candidates:
- Letter of Admission for JAMB
- Letter of Admission to BUK
- JAMB Acknowledgment Slip (For Candidates Entering Directly)
- BUK Receipt Slip (for Applicants Using Direct Entry)
- Slip of Results for JAMB (UTME Candidates)
- A Level Statement of Outcome (Only for Candidates Entering Directly)
- Statement of Results for O Level and Online Print (SSCE)
- O-level result Checker Card (used for several test bodies). Specifically, applicants running for NECO June/July 2019 should carry a token for result verification.
- Certificate of Primary School Completion or Testimonial (Optional)
- Birth Certificate or Age Certification
- filled-out Undertaking Form
- Proof of Acceptance Fee Payment
- The Medical Fitness Certificate
- Two (2) Current Photos for Passports
