In regard to the economic issues plaguing many Nigerians, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Youth Province I, Josephs Palace in FESTAC, Lagos, has initiated a program to distribute free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to students struggling financially.
The initiative was announced by the province’s pastor-in-charge, Pastor Leke Adeboye, who emphasised that its goal was to lessen the financial burden on students who couldn’t afford the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam registration fees.
“Anyone can use the free JAMB forms, regardless of their background or denominational affiliation,” he said. Pastor Adeboye gave interested kids an online application link and urged pastors, church leaders, and community people to tell others about the program.
“This gesture reflects RCCG’s dedication to empowering young people and promoting education as a vital tool for personal and national development, especially in a country where financial constraints often hinder students’ ability to pursue higher education,” Pastor Adeboye said of the initiative, which highlights RCCG’s commitment to youth empowerment and education.
This endeavour is in line with RCCG’s overarching goal of promoting the development and welfare of young people in Nigeria.
