Schedule & Student Guide for the 16th Matriculation Ceremony of KSUSTA in 2023/2024

With great pride, we announce the 16th matriculation ceremony of Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero (KSUSTA) for the newly accepted undergraduate class of the 2023/2024 academic year. This historic occasion will take place in the Convocation Arena on Thursday, March 7, 2024, starting at 9:00 a.m. This ceremony, which signifies our new students’ official entry into the KSUSTA family, is more than simply a ceremonial occasion; it is an important turning point in their academic careers.

Crucial Knowledge for Graduate Students

Get Ready and Practice

  • Date of rehearsal: Wednesday, March 6, 2024
  • Time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Location: Convocation Arena

It is mandatory for all matriculating students to take part in the rehearsals in order to guarantee the ceremony runs well.

Gathering of Matriculation Oath Forms

  • Collection Period: March 4, 2024, Monday through Wednesday
  • Time: every day from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
  • Location: The University Store’s rear is the Research & Innovation Hall.

One important step in the matriculation process is collecting and filling out the Matriculation Oath Form, which is required of all matriculants.

Academic Dress Selection

  • Rental Fee: N500: payable to the Research & Innovation Hall’s Bursary staff
  • Deadline for returns: Monday, March 11, 2024

There will be a fee if the academic robe is not returned by the deadline. All matriculants are required to wear the gown, which is an essential part of their matriculation clothing.

Ceremony Convocation

  • Assembly: Thursday, March 7, 2024
  • Time: 8:30 a.m.
  • Location: Arena Convocation

At the appointed hour, students must gather, ready for the procession, fully clothed in their robes and with their Oath Forms.

Behaviour and Clothes Code

Students must wear their academic gowns in order to enter the Convocation Arena. It is also required of all guests to have a decorum quiet and a composed expression during the event.

Time Without Lectures

In order to enable maximum involvement, all UG I and UG II students will have no lectures on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
