School Dating: is it Okay?

The most important one is if a relationship is going to interfere with your school work. The work in different levels of education gets significantly harder as you progress. You already have kinds of stuff to worry about such as standardized testing, examinations, assignments, projects, and lots more. These kinds of kinds of stuff can put a lot of stress on you, which makes it harder to balance that stress in a relationship.

It’s probably best to focus on your mental health. Hence, If you feel like having a girlfriend or boyfriend is just gonna be another stress layer on you, then don’t.


The term dating needs to be addressed, you can go on dates with people. That means you can spend time or hang out with them without having to be in an official relationship.

Well, some people use dating to mean boyfriend and girlfriend. So it is important to clarify those two. If you wanna date someone, that’s totally fine. You don’t have to be locked down in a relationship with one person because that can add extra layers of things you’d have to worry about. But if you’re just casually dating people, like being friends to them, that could be okay.

If you’re afraid to start dating because you don’t want someone to pressure you into doing something physically. Don’t worry, you can still date someone, by going out with each other and getting to know them. You will make progress with each other, as long as you’re open and honest every step of the way.



Always remember that you have control over your own actions. Moreso, if you don’t want to start dating because you’re afraid of being rejected or you don’t want to be branded as a loser for asking out the wrong person, don’t worry.

Everything in life is a learning experience. If you do make a misstep, or something does backfire, don’t rule off dating altogether. You could find someone that you really like and really connect with. You just gotta keep getting out there, and meeting more people.
