SLU Post-UTME/DE 2024: Cut-off, Eligibility, Registration
All First Choice UTME and Direct Entry (DE) applicants seeking admission to Sule Lamido University (SLU) Kafin Hausa for the 2024/2025 Academic Session may register for the Online Admission Screening below.
SCREENING ELIGIBILITY
- Candidates for the UTME must have passed five relevant subjects at credit level in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent in two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Direct Entry Candidates must have a Lower Credit National Diploma, a Merit NCE, and 7 IJMBE Advanced Level points.
- UTME candidates who scored 140 or higher in the 2024 UTME and did not choose Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa as their first choice should change to the university via JAMB (www.slu.edu.ng) and choose any of the programs listed in the attached image.
REGISTRATION
Online screening exercise registration for UTME and DE candidates will begin on Monday, September 16, 2024, and terminate at midnight on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Follow these steps to register for the exercise:
- Navigate to admissions at www.slu.edu.ng and pick online application or UTME or Direct Entry.
- Log in using your UTME number and score (UTME candidates) or DE number, state of origin, and gender (DE applicants) and submit your passport-sized picture.
- Complete your profile with correct information.
- Update ‘O’ Level exams, two sittings max. Upload a clean, crisp scan of your SSCE (for UTME Candidates) statement of result after saving.
- DE applicants will submit their SSCE and ‘A’ Level Results after step 4.
- Go to “POST-UTME payment” and select “Pay Now” to pay with your card or “Download Payment Schedule” to produce, download, and print a payment schedule with all the information. Candidates must pay ₦2,000.00 (excluding REMITA costs) for the Online Post-UTME/DE Screening Fee using Commercial Bank, Debit Card, or Remita Website.
- To register, produce, download, and print the “Acknowledgement Slip” after payment.
Successful applicants must register with originals and photocopies of the following documents:
- Slip of Acknowledgement
- Proof of Payment
- UTME/DE Registration Slip
- SSCE Results Statements
- Two current white-background passport photos
- Indigeneity Certificate
- Birth Certificate/Age Declaration
- DE applicants only: ‘A’ Level Statement of Results
Candidates utilizing the JAMB Green Card must modify their institution or program during two weeks of online registration, from Monday, September 16, 2024, until midnight on Monday, September 30, 2024.
The University will not admit candidates for the 2024/2025 Academic Session who do not register for the online screening exercise on time.
