According to Dr Tunji Alausa, Minister of Education, this action is in line with President Tinubu’s goals of lowering youth unemployment, generating employment, and promoting a technologically advanced society.
Repositioning Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a major force behind national development is the goal of the reform, which was announced at a stakeholders’ meeting on the TVET program in Abuja.

In order to ensure that no JSS 3 student is turned away because of congestion, Mrs. Offokeansi I. S., Chairman of all Federal Technical Colleges and Principal of FTC Otukpo, asked principals to enhance communication during student transfers.
It is anticipated that this calculated action will match education with the economic demands of the nation by giving young Nigerians skills relevant to the business.
