The 2023–2024 FUNAAB Matriculation Ceremony

On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the esteemed Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building, the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Matriculation Ceremony for the 2023/2024 academic session is scheduled to take place in a great fashion. This momentous occasion, which is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m., marks the official induction of recently admitted students into the university’s prestigious community. With careful planning in progress, the event is set to become an enduring landmark for those in attendance as well as the new students setting off on their academic journey.

Getting Ready and Taking Part

Invited staff members are kindly reminded to pick up their ceremonial green academic gowns from the Chief Stores and Suppliers Officer in the 1,000 Seater Lecture Theater on Monday, February 26, 2024, in advance of this momentous occasion. His work experience at internationally renowned organizations like the Nigerian Incentive-Based Risk-Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL), Financial Sector Deepening Africa (FSDA), and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) demonstrates his unwavering commitment to promoting sustainable development within the agricultural landscape.

Professional and Academic Accomplishments

Both Mr. Onadeko’s career trajectory and academic qualifications are excellent. He is a proud graduate of FUNAAB and possesses an MBA in finance from Manchester Business School in the UK, a Master’s in Development Economics & Policy from the University of Manchester in the UK, and a Bachelor of Agriculture (B.Agric) in Agricultural Economics & Farm Management. His qualifications as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and a Certified Associate in Project Management from the George Washington University School of Business, USA, further attest to his dedication to excellence and lifelong learning. Mr. Onadeko is currently expanding his expertise at the Center of Excellence in Agricultural Development and Sustainable Environment (CEADESE), FUNAAB, where he is completing a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Environmental Policy.
