The administration of the National Examinations Council (NECO) has issued the final schedule for the 2024 internal Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE). The Allschoolabs is happy to notify the general public, especially candidates and teachers waiting for the NECO timetable 2024.

Date of NECO Exam: 2024

The NECO 2024 Timetable states that the test will start on June 19 and end on July 26, 2024.

CANDIDATES AND SCHOOLS SHOULD REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:

APPLICABLE TO SCIENCES, STENOGRAPHY, COMPUTER STUDIES, AND DATA PROCESSING SETS WHERE THE EQUIPMENT CANNOT GO ROUND AND THE NUMBER OF CANDIDATES IS LARGE.

1. Candidates should receive welding and fabrication, engineering craft practice at least three weeks before the exam date.
2. AT THE END OF EACH SUBJECT, ALBINOS AND BLIND CANDIDATES ARE TO BE ALLOWED 30 MORE MINUTES.
3. For the examination, BLIND CANDIDATES MUST USE THE NECO SUPPLIED OBR CUSTOMIZED BRAILLE SHEET.
4. Candidates should get the following materials at least two weeks prior to the exam date: DYEING & BLEACHING 1B, PAINTING & DECORATION 1B, PRINTING CRAFT PRACTICE 1B, LEATHER GOODS MANUFACTURING & REPAIR 1B, AND PHOTOGRAPH 1B.
5. It is permitted to use a scientific calculator.
6. IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO USE A PROGRAMMABLE CALCULATOR OR ANY PROGRAMMABLE DEVICE.
7. IT IS VERY ROUGH TO BRING GSM INTO THE EXAMINATION HALL.

SSCE NECO Timetable for 2024

The following important details should be known by candidates and schools:

1. If the time on the question paper is different from the schedule, follow it.
2. Verify with NECO State Offices the locations of the exams for Arabic, music, French, auto mechanics, physical education, and music.
3. When there is a lack of equipment, some practical tests may be given in sets.
4. Distribute the practice materials for engineering crafts and welding and fabrication at least three weeks prior to the exam date.
5. At least two weeks prior to the exam, provide materials for Dyeing and Bleaching, Photography, Painting and Decorating, Printing Craft Practice, and Leather Goods.
6. Literary elements are present in Nigerian languages.
7. Give candidates who are albinos and blind an extra thirty minutes for each subject.
8. Candidate blindness must use the OBR customized braille sheet provided by NECO.
9. It is acceptable to utilize scientific calculators.
10. In the exam room, electronic communication devices are absolutely forbidden.
11. To get their results in the subject, candidates have to take the practical tests (Paper 1).

7. Maintain Your Confidence: Have faith in your skills and abilities. Don’t allow anxiety or fear to stop you. You can perform well on the NECO SSCE exam if you prepare carefully and have confidence.
