Three staff of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) were fired for transgressing the school’s code of conduct, which included dereliction of duty, sexual harassment, and manipulating results.
Ismail Yauri, a spokesman for the university, stated that the decision was made at its 171st regular meeting on March 12, 2025.

Yauri underlined that UDUS’s stringent “zero tolerance” policy for unethical behaviour is in line with the disciplinary action. “The impacted parties have been officially informed of their termination,” he said.
“The university’s dedication to maintaining academic integrity and providing a secure and professional environment for both students and staff is reaffirmed by this action.”
