UI Looks into the Robbery at Awo Hall and Strengthens Security.

After an early-morning heist at Awo Hall on Saturday, the University of Ibadan (UI) has increased security and opened an investigation.

Joke Akinpelu, a spokesman for the institution, said that the burglar only targeted two rooms and took two cell phones.The thief was able to enter undetected because the victims had momentarily left their doors open while washing dishes or using the lavatory.

Ms. Akinpelu went on to say that the burglar asked for computers but ran away when someone sounded the alarm. Police have started an inquiry after receiving a report about the event from the institution.
