The UK raises the proof of funds requirement for international students to £1,483.
The United Kingdom government has increased the financial prerequisites for overseas students, mandating evidence of £1,483 per month for those studying in London and £1,136 per month for students outside the capital.
The adjustment, up from the prior £1,334 for London and £1,023 for other regions, necessitates that students enrolled in courses of nine months or longer in London demonstrate a minimum of £13,348 in savings to qualify for a student visa.
The UK Home Office said that the modification corresponds with revised maintenance loans for domestic students, guaranteeing that all students can meet their living expenditures.
