UNILORIN SUG announcement to students about the payment of the 2022/2023 NELFUND loan
In compliance with the recent circular from the Registrar’s office on the disbursement of the Student Loan, we are informing you of the essential processes and requirements for obtaining the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund) from the Bursary Office, University of Ilorin.
The Students’ Union praises the openness and prudence shown by the government headed by President Tinubu, NELFund management, and University Management in the allocation of the loan.
This information is intended just for students who applied for NELFund during the 2022/2023 Academic Session and received the Upkeep payment for the preceding month (August).
Students seeking a refund must send a letter to the Bursar via the Dean of the Student Affairs Unit (SAU), together with the requisite supporting papers.
- A copy of the previous session’s tuition fee receipt
- A copy of the maintenance payment receipt
- Account information for the Upkeep Payment
