UNIPORT Post-UTME/DE 2024: Deadline, Qualifications, and Enrollment Information.

The University of Port Harcourt invites applicants who chose the University as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 160 to apply for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise to qualify for admission.

DATE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION

The registration period will start on Wednesday, 23rd July, 2024 and end on Friday, 16th August, 2024. Applicants are required to access the website www.uniport.edu.ng in order to complete the registration process.

Significant dates and procedures for registration

Applicants are required to access the University’s official website at www.uniport.edu.ng and rigorously follow the prescribed Registration Procedure.

  • Prospective candidates who meet the requirements must enter their UTME Registration Number and verify the pre-loaded UTME information.
  • Generate a Remita Code for payment with your MasterCard, Visa, Verve Card, or other accepted cards. To make a payment of N2,000.00, you may either print off the payment slip and go to one of the following banks: ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, or UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK. These banks are equipped with the Remita platform.
  • Acquire a Remita Receipt that displays an Access Code from the Bank Teller to verify the payment.
  • Please log in to the online platform using your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code found on the payment slip starting from Wednesday, July 24th, 2024.
  • Please fill out the online Form as instructed.Candidates who are currently waiting for their O’Level result(s) should clearly state this.
  • Select the “submit button” and get a printout of the Registration Slip for the Screening Exercise.
2024 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE SCHEDULE

Additional information and timetable for the Screening Exercise will be released at a later time. Candidates should regularly monitor the University website. Candidates should obtain the official UNIPORT University Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers. This will allow them to prepare well for the screening.

Individuals who do not register within the designated registration period will be unable to take part in the screening exercise.

Attention:
The University does not tolerate any inconsistencies in the name or photograph on the Registration Slip. Such discrepancies may result in disqualification of the candidates concerned. The names of candidates on their O’Level Certificates, UTME Results, and other registration papers must be same.
  • Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2024 in order to qualify for the selection process.The user did not provide any text. Do not bring mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, or other similar electronic devices and unnecessary items into the Screening Venue and its surrounding areas.
  • Applicants must submit their applications within the designated Registration Period because the online link for the Application Form will deactivate at midnight on Friday, 16th August 2024.
  • Registration occurs online, so applicants do not need to be physically present on the University Campus. However, they should register from any location.
  • Candidates who selected the University as their second choice and want admission must first change their first preference to the University of Port Harcourt before applying for the Screening Exercise.
  • Candidates must promptly submit their O’Level results to the JAMB website. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from admission consideration.
  • Candidates must register using their own legitimate personal telephone (GSM) numbers and email addresses.
  • Candidates must adhere to the planned Screening Exercise and attend to the authorized Screening Venues as instructed, failure to do so may result in disqualification.
  • Parents, guardians, and unauthorized security personnel cannot enter the campus during the screening exercise.
