UTME 2024 Exam Slip Printing: A Notice from JAMB to Candidates

Examinees will be notified when their examination slips are ready to print, according to a Thursday, March 28 announcement from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). This was announced by the examination board for universities in a quote tweet on its official X (formerly Twitter) account. It said, “Examination slip printing shall be communicated to the candidates in due course.”

The registration period for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) was concluded by JAMB in February. Monday, January 15, marked the start of the registration period, and Monday, February 26, marked its end. More than 260,000 candidates took part in the 2024 mock UTME at 793 computer-based test (CBT) centers around Nigeria as a part of their preparation for the main exam.

It is planned that the primary UTME will begin on Friday, April 19, 2024. Because the JAMB test slip includes significant information including the date, location, and time of the UTME exam, printing it is recommended. If this slip is missing, candidates might have trouble entering the examination room.

A student’s score in the UTME, which is administered by JAMB each year in Nigeria, decides their admittance to various higher education institutions, such as universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
