She made this disclosure during the 2023/2024 Blended Matriculation Ceremony of the Distance Learning Institute, which took place in the Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, DLI, UNILAG on Friday, April 5, 2024.
She revealed that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has given the University permission to start the following four programs at the Distance Learning Institute: Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Science in Finance, Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling, and Bachelor of Educational Administration.
Prof. Ogunsola extended her congratulations to the matriculating students of the University of First Choice and the Nation’s Pride for choosing open distance learning as their preferred form of education. She emphasized that this approach is the future and urged them to embody good character “in deed and in truth”.
The Director of the Institute, Prof. Risikat Dauda, presented the new intakes to the Vice-Chancellor, and the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Olakunle Makinde, swore them in.
