Travel and Travel Grants

For the YYAS Summit in Zimbabwe:

  • Responsibility: Students must manage travel arrangements to and from Zimbabwe.
  • Travel Grants: Limited need-based grants are available for students living outside Zimbabwe.
  • Self-Funding: Students not receiving travel grants must arrange and fund their own travel.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for YYAS, ensure you meet these requirements:

  • Age: 14-18 years old as of 18 July 2024 (typically ages 16-17).

  • Citizenship: African citizenship or permanent residency.
  • School Location: Attendance at a school in Africa.
  • Grade Level: Current 10th or 11th-grade student (or international equivalent).
  • Graduation Date: Graduating secondary school between May/June 2025 and June 2026 (Northern Hemisphere) or November/December 2024 and December 2025 (Southern Hemisphere).
