Yobe State University Governing Council Promotes 29 Academic Staff Members
The Governing Council of Yobe State University has approved the promotion of 29 academic staff members, a significant achievement in the institution’s ongoing pursuit of academic excellence.
Newly Promoted Professors
Sixteen (16) academic staff members have been promoted to the rank of Professor:
- Dr. Muhammad Yunus Mahre – Professor of Applied Chemistry
- Dr. Mohammed Musa Lawan – Professor of Environmental Analytical Chemistry
- Dr. Mahdi Alhaji Musa – Professor of Information Technology
- Dr. Sani Isa – Professor of Applied Mathematics
- Dr. Mohammed Bukar Ngamdu – Professor of Geography (Agro-Climatology)
- Dr. Bukar Jamri – Professor of Political Sociology and Development
- Dr. Mohamed Imam – Professor of Sociology and Conflict Studies
- Dr. Ibrahim Umar – Professor of Financial Crimes and Investigation
- Dr. Lawan Jafaru Tahir – Professor of International History and Security Studies
